CHESHIRE “GOLDEN TRIANGLE”

A riverside scheme having a wide range of 2,3 and 4 bed houses and apartments together with clubhouse.

Sitting in sight of the Pennine foothills astride a river, the historic village dates to Anglo Saxon times and sitting within the “Golden Triangle” of the most sought after places to live outside London.

The main street you see today is a Conservation Area dominated by the Grade One listed church and a succession of black and white and also dark red Cheshire brick properties dating from the 15th,16th and 17th centuries. Several of the cottages were the traditional three-storey dwellings of silk weavers.

There is a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants.

The Cotswolds

24 houses in a formal landscape setting with pond and clubhouse.

Set within the heart of a market town and close to the Cotswold Water Park on the south east edge of the Cotswolds. Although small, the town benefits from a wide range of facilities including shops, post office, Doctor's Surgery, a hospital outpatient clinic, a Dentist, an Opticians, a Library, Sports Hall, and a Community Centre. The town has a great community spirit as witnessed by the abundance of clubs.

The church with its complete and recently restored set of medieval stained glass windows draws many discerning tourists. The river is lovely to walk along and provides the opportunity to see kingfishers, swans, little grebe and brown trout plus shy water voles.

Surrey

Just 11 houses set around a green with a pond and clubhouse.

In 2016 Country Life identified this village as one of the best villages in which to live near London. The village is described as enjoying tranquillity and an active community spirit.

The area has been populated since the Stone Age and many of the large country houses in the area were built by wealthy Londoners fleeing the plague in the seventeenth century.

The population totals 989 with some 400 or so houses. There is a village Hall, cricket pitch, sports and social club, village pub and a community shop/post office. The shop and the pub are very much the focus of the village with the proposed scheme in the heart of the village.
