DESIGN INSPIRED BY AN OCEAN GOING CLIPPER

Sails | 27 April 2014 |

By the time of this year’s Dartmouth Regatta, at the end of August, there will be a new addition overlooking the quay at the entrance to the town centre – SAILS, a striking and dramatic new landmark building of five apartments and a penthouse, adjacent to Coronation Park and with views of the Royal Naval College. All five of the highly specified apartments have large glazed areas providing great views but also making the apartments, which all have balconies, light and airy.

The penthouse has to be one of a kind for Dartmouth having that added wow factor with all of its rooms looking out on to its own Japanese roof garden.

Not only does Sails have the benefit of water front views but it also offers the rarity of garage parking right in the heart of the town together with basement storage pods for sailing gear and golf clubs. Moorings are available immediately opposite or further along the quay at Dart Marina where a parking space comes with a mooring and discount at the Spa. In fact, pretty well everything is close at hand with tennis courts in the park, Marks and Spencers just around the corner and the historic town centre, restaurants and market stalls only a short walk.

The town itself is a thriving community 52 weeks of the year. It offers the best of all worlds with not just fantastic sailing but also, for nature walkers, wonderful coastal walks as well as Dartmoor to the west. For those wanting a permanent home or a holiday home, Sails must offer the ultimate as a prime location.
